BAC Members Day at Winton Motor Raceway

Despite an initial bout of wet weather, the BAC Members Day drew an impressive turnout of more than 50 members at Winton Motor Raceway for the annual celebration.

The day featured a relaxed track experience and a delicious BBQ lunch courtesy of Full Throttle Café. Enthusiasts enjoyed seeing a diverse mix of cars on track, including: a 1976 Holden Torana, a Datsun 720 pick up, a Ford Escort RS200, Mazda MX-5, 1998 Hyundai Excel, Corvette C5, two tribute Touring Cars and many more!

Members and their guests had the chance to sample the thrill of driving on a racetrack in a friendly, social atmosphere.

A standout moment was the lunchtime demonstration by one of our youngest members, 17 year old Justin Yuen, in his Hyer Racer. Justin has competed this year in two major series – the Victorian Motor Racing Championships (VMRC) and the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, both sanctioned by AASA.
